Vintage Bone Snuff Bottles with Figural Carvings

It is a known fact that Japanese carvers also made snuff bottles in the 1920's. The only way to tell the difference is how the figures are portrayed and by the exquisite carving. The design of this bottle is well planned from the floriated stopper, floral scroll around the shoulder to the seated figures below followed by two rows of design, the first is a key fret and the other simple lines. The most beautiful part is the continuous pictorial presentation of children and woman, the vignettes are separated by trees and garden rocks. It is 2 inches wide, 1 inch deep and 3.25 inches high.
